I was so relieved and thankful that my family have experienced far less damages than those experienced by people shown on national TV. We are so blessed we did not lose a family member and we have our home intact and our properties just fine. The flooding was really terrible and until now, there are still a lot of people staying on the roof of their houses still crying for help, desperately waiting for rescuers, with no food and water for days now. May God help them and may God help us all so we can save them from this terrible calamity.
Yesterday morning, Sunday, we got home safely in our Makati apartment and we were so glad that the water outside our house have already somehow subsided. There's no more water inside the house and everything went back to normal. We were indeed very lucky. Thank God!
