Fly high Sandara

She's "the" Sandara Park that took the hearts of many Pinoys after she made us laugh with her candidness in ABS-CBN's reality-based talent search show Star Circle Quest. She impressed a lot of Filipinos with her efforts to fit in and speak Tagalog. She was the runner-up in that talent search and rose to stardom after being paired up with then Grand Teen Questor Hero Angeles.

They did a couple of movies including Bcoz of You. But after Hero left the network and the management that handled their team-up, Sandara got paired with another guy, Joseph Bitangcol, who eventually became Sandara's boyfriend. Sandara's team-up with Joseph did not do well with the fans. They broke up and Sandara returned to Korea.

The rest as they say is history that marks the rise of Sandara Park after the rise and fall of her Philippine showbiz career.

Last time I checked is that 2NE1 member Sandara Park's solo debut song "Kiss" climbed up the charts of MNET to # 1 only after four days from its debut. Although much of the interest was also stirred by the fact that she was paired up with Boys over Flowers' Lee Min Ho in the Kiss video, Sandara has proven that she is indeed a risen star and this time in Korean soil where the music and entertainment industry is far bigger than the Philippine counterpart. Her face is now all over Korea. Fly high Sandara! We Filipinos are so proud you made it finally!
