In our green effort to reduce the trash that we make, we usually use lunchboxes especially for our kids in school. The thing is, there may be lead in reusable lunchboxes and the lead may be in the lining of the lunchboxes, the area closest to the food. We should try to minimize our kids' exposure to contamination. Because of this, I was browsing through the web on ideas about which lunchbox to use. Surprisingly, I found out that a highly recommended great lunchbox, 100% lead-free, and is definitely environmental friendly, is the Bazura Bag. And it's Philippine-made!
I'm so glad about this. The Bazura Bag is handmade using colorful recycled juice containers to form cool, one-of-a-kind styles. The bags are produced in varying colors and they are all great-looking. These are made in the Philippines by a women's cooperative which set up a livelihood project with the help of the local government. The juice box material is durable and has insulating properties. Because this in non-biodegradable, it clogs landfills and streets in the Philippines. Using Bazura Bags means that you are also helping in cleaning the environment.
