The Don Bosco Taekwondo Club

Looking for a Saturday activity that helps enhance both physical and social health of your kids? Try taekwondo.

If you're living within Makati area check out the Don Bosco Taekwondo Club. Practice is every Saturday from 9 to 11 in the morning but usually extends up until around 12 noon. The head instructor is Dr. Noli Gabriel. He was the head coach of the Philippine Taekwondo Team from 1990-2004 and is now serving as Deputy Secretary General of the Phil. Teakwondo Association. He is an international instructor with more than 25 years of teaching experience and a 6th DAN Blackbelt. He is authorized to conduct promotions unlike other instructors.

About fees, the monthly fee is P1,600. The fee for promotion is about P600. The gears which include the armour, arm guards, etc cost approximately P6,000. They accept both boys and girls. For more info: kindly contact the club secretariat at 0927-5990508.

This coming October, the club will be open again for kids who want to join. My son joined October last year and I can say that apart from the Taekwondo skills he has gained, he's improved in terms of his focus, behavior and confidence. In here, there is more that kids can gain aside from martial arts techniques.
