Fely J's Kitchen

Last night, we (my organization) hosted a dinner at Fely J's in the posh Greenbelt 5 here in Makati for our project consultants/collaborators from several ASEAN countries. Honestly, it was my first time hearing about a Filipino restaurant called Fely J's myself. Well, I'm not really a person that explores a lot, my daily routine is just home, office, home, kids' school, supermarket, mall (though not very often). But I must say that if I'm to pursue this blogging hobby, I have to get out of my boring routine and start digging things, interesting things around. :)

But I must say Fely J's Kitchen should get a 4.9 starts in the rating. It's a great restaurant if you want to introduce Filipino cuisine to your foreign friends. It's a great place for us Pinoys to taste real Filipino dishes, a great place to praise the mixtures of old and the new - old and original Filipino recipes but with touches of adventures in them giving them a whole new image. Try out their dessert - I forgot the name, but it's mango with glutinous rice cake with ice cream on top and I guess coconut milk? I even forgot to take a pic of that, coz I got busy. :)

  1. I've never had Filipino food. Some day, maybe when my kids are grown, I'll get to experience more culture beyond the little world that I currently live in.

    Looks tasty!
