Last weekend, the Don Bosco Taekwondo Club held its promotion test at Savio Dome. My Sean himself was working past his yellow belt into blue. And he's done a great job. The results will be announced this weekend.
The test was done in the afternoon and I was actually fighting my yearning for an afternoon nap. But the fun thing to watch was the test for the black belts. All of 'em had to jump and kick the piece of wood to pieces, as you can see in the photo above. Several have done it even with their first try. There were some who had to try it several times before they've finally broken it. It was a great thing for the lower belts to watch, something to inspire them and wow them.
